Action Point provides numerous projects and services to meet the needs of our local community.

We work with older people, people with learning disabilities and adults experiencing mental health difficulties.

We also support other disadvantaged groups and the wider Keighley community.

Established back in 2005, this is a service for adults with a learning disability. We support people to develop the skills and confidence to volunteer independently in their local community.
A fun and friendly social group for adults with a learning disability. We run every Monday and Friday and support people to take part in a wide range of fun and fabulous activities!
Our volunteer brokerage service provides information and advice for anyone who would like to volunteer in Keighley or Bradford. We work with our partners Volunteering Bradford so that we can put you in contact with a wide range of volunteering placements from across the Bradford district.
Our day groups run on a Wednesday and Thursday. Members enjoy a two course meal, companionship and a range of engaging activities that promote social and emotional well-being.
A fortnightly Friday night disco for adults with a learning disability. A fun and friendly environment where people can meet friends, grab a bite to eat and boogie the night away!
This is our sensory room which is available to hire.
It has a heated water bed, bubble tubes and sensory lighting. it is
great for relaxation and benefits for those with and without sensory support needs.
2nd time around is our very own charity shop. This helps us to generate income to support our services. It also provides a supported work placement for adults with learning disabilities to prepare them for maintream volunteering.
As a registered Umbrella body with the Disclosure and barring service we provided a comprehensive, confidential counter-signatory service to agencies whose staff and volunteers have regular contact with children and/or vulnerable adults.
Tea & Toast

WE ARE A WARM SPACES VENUE
Our welcoming cafe, offering a warm space and friendly chat, with the added bonus of tea and toast and coffee and crafts. You can also use our DVD and book exchange for free.
We are open Mondays 10-00 - 12pm.
A project that provides intensive support in a sheltered environment for adults with a learning disability who want to gain retail skills.
We support people to learn key retail skills, from customer services to merchandising.
We know how hard it can be to find a trusted trader so we have our own register of a range of tradespeople. All have a DBS completed when registering.
