Our Promises

We believe that everyone has a right to lead a fulfilling life and we strive to ensure that those who need additional support are enabled to do so. We are committed to providing assistance that enables people to:

  • Build on their strengths and abilities
  • Make their own choices
  • Overcome barriers and challenges
  • Be fully included and able to participate in their community
  • Be valued as an equal citizen
  • Be treated with respect
  • Be treated as an individual
  • Be as independent as possible
  • Experience new things
  • Stay safe

We currently deliver a range of services that support various client groups. This work is undertaken in people's own homes, out in the community, within volunteering placements across the district and within day services.

We provide a person-centred approach as it provides a foundation for our caring and responsive service. We listen to each individual to establish their wants, needs, aspirations, religious and cultural beliefs when offering assistance. We always focus on what people can do so we can continue to build on their abilities and strengths and help them maximise their potential.

We value the diversity of our community and all our staff and service users. We also believe that everyone has a right to be their full authentic self without fear of discrimination, criticism or judgement.
