Jack Allinson

Trustee
I’m Jack and I have been a member of the board of trustees at Action Point since 2010. I help to make decisions about the organisation and I know a lot  about volunteering and the needs of people with learning disabilities.

I have volunteered since 2004 when the Supported Volunteering project helped me find my first volunteering job.

As a supported volunteer myself, I am able to share my ideas to help others which is important to me as I care about other people.

I am a friendly person and love getting on with others. Staff and volunteers can come to me if they need me for anything as I’m easy to talk to.

I love to have a joke and keep people laughing. When I’m not volunteering, I like to socialise and go to watch my favourite football team Bradford City.
